Having been a long time Project Runway fan, I was delighted to be invited to attend a meet and greet with none other than Anthony Williams from this past Season 7 at The Whiskey Blue. I was really excited since he was an Atlantan who went very far on the show. I had him in the final four, as posted on my PR blog, of my fantasy PR league.

I came to the event which was appropriately name Cocktails and Couture. However, the cocktails were very expensive and the couture was what some of us were wearing. I wore a gorgeous pink dress with black zebra like stripes and cap sleeves, made by up and coming, amazing local designer, silla.

I was chatting with a couple Bella Moda Models that came with me, and the next thing you know, you know who is standing right in front of me. I hear,

“Heeeeyyyy Everyone” in that southern and festive voice that everyone knows and loves. He went on through the room greeting various people and then went to end of the room to receive an award given to him by W Hotel for achieving 2 wins in Project Runway this season and being one of Atlanta’s newest rising stars! He gave a very funny and “Anthony” like speech saying that he didn’t know anyone here, but appreciated us being here for him.

We then proceeded to meet him and take pics in front of the W Buckhead backdrop. He stayed “on” all night and it was great to see that he is himself all of the time. I don’t think you will ever see Anthony acting any other way but like himself. That makes him very loveable!

We all can’t wait to see what Anthony has in store for us in the near future!!!
