“Fashion isn’t just what we do, it’s Who we are”.

Yes, doll faces! These are the words of the director Janell Kirkland and her team of Project Next. Project Next is a fashion and event planning organization based in Atlanta, GA and founded on the campus of Clark Atlanta University.

With that being stated, I was highly anticipating attending the annualClark Atlanta University Homecoming Fashion Show since I attended last year and was extremely impressed so I made it my duty to attend again this year. On Tuesday, September 29, 2009, Project Next presented “Flight With No Destination” with a tribute to Michael Jackson. This show was fly! There were about 900 attendees, who all watched the models get their fierce catwalks on not 1 but 2 runways, makeup flawless, and their garments being trendy and quite couture.
